Sweet Sadie is an "Old soul", the gentlest of a litter of three puppies who were brought in as strays to a shelter in Arkansas. Now she's made the long journey to CT in hopes of finding a family who appreciates the gentle souls. Sadie is so attentive, patient and affectionate, and if you pick her up like a baby, she may just fall asleep in your arms!! She is being fostered in a home with lots of kids and dogs, and she is happy to take everyone else's lead, with a big smile and a constant tail wag at the slightest glance her way. Sadie can handle herself at playtime with other dogs roughhousing, wrestling and running around like a lunatic. But she also knows how to relax and let you do what you need to do. And the sweetest thing is how she melts from the inside out when you pet her -- a true "people appreciator."
Sadie is just about 4 months old, she weighs about 25 - 30 pounds and she's a very healthy girl. We have no idea what her true mix is, but if there was a breed called "The Sweetheart" we know she'd be the breed standard!
