Tiny's Story...
Tiny is an adorable little Terrier/Lab mix puppy who is shy but curious about his surroundings. He would do well in a home with older children (over 12 please) who will give him love, snuggles and adventures.

In his current foster home, he has 3 other dogs (English Mastiff, Cattle Dog, and a Shepherd/Retriever), as well as 2 cats and gets along with all of them. If there are other dogs in the home it would be best to have a low energy introduction due to his shyness. He is great with adults and children and warms up quickly even though he is still in his shy puppy stage.

He is doing extremely well on leash walks and while he loves to explore new surroundings, he may be too overwhelmed in a dog park. He knows basic commands such as “sit”, “touch” and “off”. He’s still learning manners and is extremely smart; he would love someone to teach him more as it’s fun for him to master new commands!

Tiny is a great little dog who shouldn’t be much over 30 pounds, perfect for any active family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a Newport Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Newport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport paves the way for another one to be saved.
