CHANCE's Story...
Sweet Chance is down on his luck and hoping for his own second chance. He was found as a lost doggie on 4/13/17, and when brought to the shelter was found to have a micro chip. His owner was contacted, and instead of coming to the shelter to pick up Chance, they came to sign him over They said Chance has been an outdoor dog and was not allowed to live inside with the family, so he will need some house training. He is GOOD WITH KIDS and very sweet. He is 3 years old and weighs 49 lbs. He is current on his vaccines, neutered and micro chipped. He will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Chance's ID # is 595198 and can be found in cage 54. Give love a chance and come meet Chance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHANCE, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
