My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WHERE’S RUFUS? WE FOUND HIM! OK, actually he was dropped off in the country and the family who is caring for him already has seven dogs, so Rufus needs a new home ASAP. He is 66.5 pounds, 2 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. With his beautiful red and white thick, soft fur and a pleasant demeanor, we're guessing that he is a Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix. Rufus is good with children, of all ages, and is crate trained. He is mostly house trained but has had a couple of accidents. He is terrified of thunderstorms, but not of chickens. Rufus thinks chickens are fast food, so he is not a candidate for farm dog of the year. Rufus does well with the seven dogs that belong to the family, all sizes and both genders. He is not so fond of the neighbor’s dogs who come out to harass him, and his friends, when they are outside. He also does very well with the three cats at the house. Our program fee is $150 and we have an application process to insure that Rufus is a good fit for your family. Please contact Lucky Break Pet Rescue if you want to meet Rufus.
