Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Christina
Age: 3 (2017)
Sex: Female
Breed: Hound/Bully Breed Mix
Temperament: Very Friendly
Good with Dogs: Yes (both large and small dogs)
Good with Cats: Unknown, although her gentleness and lack of prey drive with smaller dogs would have us assume she may be good with cats. We can test for an approved applicant.
Good with Kids: Absolutely
Heartworm status: Negative
Christina came to us after we pulled her from MBAW as a medical case. Although her story is unknown, our veterinary team believes she was either abused or hit by a car. She had to have her hip joint completely rebuilt. Regardless of what her past may be, this girl is an absolute sweetheart and is very loving. Anyone who adopts her would be blessed to have her as a member of their family. This girl LOVES to play, both with her friends- human and dog- and with toys on her own. She is vey partial to tennis balls! Her best friend at the rescue is Buck, who is also available for adoption and is very like her. She is sassy and gentle and never pushes to be the alpha pup in the pack. She's a fun loving girl that just wants to party and give kisses! She does great on a leash and enjoys going for car rides. She would do well in any family living situation, though she would prefer to have someone to play with if possible. She has a wiggle butt that can reach warp speed when she's excited. If we had to sort her into a Hogwarts house, we would probably put her in Hufflepuff, as she has all the best traits of every House! She is determined and courageous and has gotten through hard medical things while giving kisses. She has come out of her shell, which is so hard to do. She is friendly and easy going and made of stern stuff; we're really impressed with her tenacity! She's a big fan of taking treats and is as gentle as a lamb doing so.
