Averly's Story...
Hi, I'm Averly an adorable 3 year old shepherd/hound mix my rescue mom thinks! I'm super loving, a bit shy at first but once I know you and warm up, I'm ever so loyal and protective. I'm a perfect size of 32 lbs and I love kids of all ages, dogs and even cats and I'm housetrained! I had a small cut on my ear but it's almost all but healed. I'm spayed, hw neg and on preventative, have my current Rabies/HW and DHLPP shots, microchipped! All I need know is to find my furever family and live happily ever after. Mom and the other doggies here say I deserve it! I can't wait to meet you! Love, Averly

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Averly, a Boerne German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Boerne, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Boerne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boerne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boerne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boerne paves the way for another one to be saved.
