Peanut's Story...
Hi, I am little Peanut, aka Goofy!
I am available for adoption through Needful Souls Dog Rescue in Baltimore, MD.

I am a 3-year old Chihuahua, a tiny little guy weighing only 9 pounds. I am neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and micro-chipped.

Don't let that delicious grumpy face of mine fool you, I am a happy-go-lucky kinda fella.
I am house-trained, crate-trained, I love going for walks, going for car rides, playing with toys, chewing on yummy treats...yum!

I have done well with other dogs in the pasty, but it takes me a little bit to warm up to new people. More socialization will benefit me. Most of all, I love snuggling up with my human and curling up under my blanket next to my Mom while she watches the new or works on her laptop.
My foster Mom says I am a total love bug.....but doesn't she know I am a doggie??? I love her anyway!!!

If you would like to know more about me or would like to fill out an adoption application, please send an email to Needful Souls Dog Rescue at: NeedfulSoulsDogRescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Baltimore Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
