*Hi! I'm Athena! I'm looking for my new, true, loving forever home! Yes, I'm a beauty and would make the perfect family pet or even therapy dog! I'm a very happy go luck girl and my tail is always wagging! I'm approx. 1-2 years old and approx. 45 pounds(4/14). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger! You'll see how wonderful I am in my videos! I'm great with kids and other dogs. I don't mind playing with other dogs but I'd rather be with my human. I haven't been tested with cats. I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm leash trained and working on my house training. I learn quickly and very inquisitive. I'm not a barker. I have a very gentle, loving and submissive temperament. I love to follow my human around and lie at their feet when they are sitting still. I also like to lie on the recliner when taking a nap. I would love to be a lap baby if i were small enough! I have a medium energy level. I really enjoy being petted and loved on. The more love and attention I get, the better! I live for belly rubs! I would make a great companion for anyone who loves the outdoors. We could go hiking, walking, running, camping, etc. If you're looking for an all around great dog with the perfect temperament, then look no further! All pets come with up-to-date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. All pets come from NC/VA (our euthanasia rate is approx 85%) and must be quarantined (to ensure health) prior to leaving the state. We go ahead and post them in hopes of them having a home ready and waiting for them to go, once their quarantine period is over. We also adopt into Canada.
