Huey's Story...

We adopted Huey Almost 2 years again from this very website. He was trained as a puppy when we first got him and knows a number of responses. A few months ago my Wife and I had our first child and are also in the process of moving to Chicago. Most apartment complexes do not allow dogs that are part Huskey ,also Huey is a high energy pet which we would not be able to property exercise him in the City. We are looking for a new home for him because we know we cannot take him with us once we do not want him to be crapped in a studio apartment. He is loyal loving and relatively quite(not much of a barker which is nice). He loves hanging out in the yard or going on walks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huey, a Westfield Husky/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Australian Shepherd for sale in Westfield, or seeking a Husky/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Westfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Husky/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
