Aspen's Story...
If you have been looking for an absolutely adorable puppy look no farther. Aspen is another male from the litter of five lab/basset mix breed. puppies. Since his legs are fairly short and stocky he will look more like a basset but have some of the great personallity traits of a lab. Aspen is just turning 7 weeks old , weighs 6.6 pounds so we think he will be a medium size dog when mature. All these puppies have wonderful personalities - loveable and playful. They are up to date on their shot and vaccination schedule and are a very healthy litter. If you interested in Alyx or one of his siblings please go to our website - www.hopeforhannahrescue.org to place an online application. This starts the adoption process and we will contact you soon after it is received to answer all of your questions. Please do not call or email us - it is much more important to get your application in asap. Thanks for considering Hope for Hannah!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a Bartonsville Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
