Daisy is a 4-5 month old Doberman/lab puppy. She is currently living in a foster home with a 4 year old female Rhodesian ridgeback mix, 2 yo female pit bull, and 8 month old male lab. She spends a lot of time playing with all of them and snuggling with Ruby, a 70lb pit bull. She loves to play tug with ropes and also enjoys stuffed toys. She sleeps through the night in a dog bed in my bedroom and wakes about 6 every morning to potty and eat, then goes back to sleep until about 7:15. She likes to take naps too and curls up in the hallway bench, accent chair or dog bed. Daisy eats twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening and enjoys training treats. She knows sit and speak and usually does both at the same time. She is a smart dog and seems to pick up in commands quickly and responds well to any redirection. She isnt too vocal she only barks for a few minutes when being crated and when she sees people pass by my backyard. Daisy is crated while I'm working or away and doesn't have any accidents while in the crate. She is about 80% house trained and only pees in the floor occasionally. She is a very sweet dog that likes to cuddle and wants to be close to her people and dogs. She has an adorable personality and the cutest quirks. She loudly sighs and grumbles when she is settling in to sleep and covers her face with her paw while sleeping. She would be great for a family that has experience with the Doberman breed, that would be committed to training and/or provide lots activity for this energetic little girl. I think she would be happiest in a home with another dog that would be receptive to her puppy antics. She is also needs to be in a home where her main living space is indoors. Daisy may not be best suited for a family with small children and as she is still learning appropriate behavior regarding jumping.
Daisy is located in Madison, AL, but she is available for adoption in your area. She is spayed, current on shots, microchipped, dewormed, and current on trifexis.
