My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB March 17, 2007.

Jesse is a beautiful cat with an awesome personality. He is chilled and relaxed, and will be a wonderful addition to your family. He likes laying around on open floors, and he also loves rubbing against you. He is a smart fellow who will meow when he wants love or food. He sits outside the bathroom door whenever his foster parent is showering, and waits for them. He is a very, very curious kitty. He liked knocking things off the tables and corners in the first few weeks. Now he's over that and simply investigates.

Jesse is 100% deaf. It's interesting to play with him, as he won't act like anything is different. Since he can't hear anything, it's funny to talk to him. You've to grab his attention by coming into his line of sight, and you can't do that by immediately appearing next to him. Poor guy gets startled and scared when a human is literally just standing next to him out of the blue. The trick is to approach his line of sight from a distance so he knows you're coming.

His foster family shares: "He's deaf, so you can't use voice to do anything with him. It doesn't affect me or him at all; it's good to do things instead of just talk. He's a good influence on me. Jesse is a really loving cat. Even when my current cat Whisper hisses at him or Jesses hisses (or they both hiss at each other), they walk by and coexist. He is a really relaxed and gentle cat.". Please welcome this very handsome, loving boy into your family.

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated versus our standard adoption fee of $175.
