Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kidd is an adorable 4 month old mastiff pit mix who actually smiles when he is happy! Kidd came to as an owner surrender while we were at the shelter. His previous owner left him behind when he moved and his roommate did not have the time for him. However, he is in good hands now and he can't wait to find his forever home!
Kidd loves to play with his foster siblings in the backyard. Kidd's foster family lives next door to a tiny dog and he loves to go over to the fence and say hi, too. He absolutely loves to ride in the car! He usually looks out the window for a bout 5min and then is passed out in the back seat for the rest of the drive. He does not get car sick and enjoys doing anything to bond with the people around him.
Kidd is great with everyone, even little kids. He is gentile and will sit for treats but like any puppy he will need continued training to keep him being a great dog. Kidd is learning to potty outside quickly. However, because Kidd loves to be with his foster family and foster siblings so much he does cry when in his crate. We allow him to cry for a few minutes and then he typically stops. Every night it get s a little better but a new family will need to know not to reinforce his crying because he is finally learning his crate is a safe place for comfort and breaks.
Kidd is the absolute best snugger ever! He also loves to take naps. However, he is the best of both worlds and if you want to go for a hick or a long walk he'll be right here with you as well. If you would like to meet Kidd, please apply at www.playersforpits.com.
