Ana was previously adopted 4 months ago, and was returned to the rescue, sadly things did not work out with the owner. Ana is now back in her previous foster home where she is doing great. She is living with a family who fosters other animals, dogs, cats, and is getting along well with everyone. We suggest that Ana go to a home where people are home all the time and they have experience with small dogs and rescues. She would also do best with another dog in the home.
About Ana:
This is the sad tale of little 8 year old Ana the miniature female poodle. She needed out of the shelter immediately because she had run out of time. We got her to our vets and they quickly discovered she had mammary masses which had to be removed, 1 rather large and 2 small. We got them removed and did blood work, got her spayed and got a biopsy done on the masses.
Ana also needed a very large dental as her little teeth were a mess.
We got the very devastating news today that the masses were cancerous.
Ana has anywhere from 3 months to 3 years to live. She is looking for someone to love her for the time she has left. She is a very smart little lady and lets you know when she needs to go to the bathroom. She really enjoys being with people and other dogs. We do not know about cats or children. She weighs a tiny 6.06 lbs and is a very fussy tiny eater but has the most adorable little personality.
Ana's adoption fee is $450.
