Uno's Story...
This little cutie pie was found wandering the streets of downtown. Amazing that he never got squished by a car! He was brought to Animal Control while they tried to find his owners but they never could so we scooped him up and brought him to the rescue. He has truly been a little bundle of joy. He's very tiny, about 5 pounds now. He enjoys playing with his buddies here and even loves the kitty cats. We don't have small children here so we don't want our Chihuahuas to go to families with small children They are notoriously not good with little kids. He loves to cuddle in bed at night and enjoys sitting on my lap for a little daytime snooze! We estimate his birthday to be 4/2/16 so he is about 12 months and still very much considered a puppy. He is pee pad trained, crate trained, heart worm negative, micro-chipped, and up to date on all of his shots. He is more than ready for his forever home. Could that be you??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uno, a Greenwich Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Greenwich, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Greenwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
