Lacey $250's Story...
Lacey is a beautiful Basset Hound who incredibly sweet! She is very mellow and would love to be a lap dog. She is on confinement right now due to her broken leg, but is healing very quickly and will be able to play soon. She would be a great family pet, and she is the type of dog that would follow you from room to room to keep you company!

Lacey was found in Oconee County, South Carolina. When she was found she was very thin and had been hit by a car. Crossroads Animal Rescue took her in and quickly performed an exam to see how bad the accident was. It was determined that she had a broken leg on her right side and muscle/ligament injuries to her left rear leg. She has made great progress since we have been treating her and is on the road to recovery. She will still need splint changes and wound care for several more weeks, but we expect that she will be back to normal soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey $250, a Seneca Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Seneca, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Seneca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seneca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seneca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seneca paves the way for another one to be saved.
