Mama Brandi's Story...
Mama Brandi has mastered the art of the pleading, puppy dog eyes. She can get us to do just about anything with that mournful look! We told her to give her best for the camera in hopes her new family is out there watching. All of Mama Brandi's puppies have been scooped up and are growing up in homes across the state and now Mama Brandi is ready to find her family. She was a wonderful mom and raised some fantastic puppies, but you could tell she was done with that life. She has since been spayed and is ready to start living for herself. She is a smart, shy girl who loves people who take the time to get to know her slowly. She would love to live in a quiet home. She does not have one aggressive bone in her body, but we think she would be happiest living in an adult only home or a home with older children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mama Brandi, a Decatur Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Decatur, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
