Phoebe's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe is a 5yr old Spayed Doberman. She is very sweet, potty trained, crate trained. She knows sit, shake, down, & stay. She has great recall off lead (with minimal distractions). She loves kids (but is strong, and can easily knock down a smaller child). She pulls a bit on a leash, but with some training, that can be corrected. Phoebe would do best in a home as the only dog or with another female dog close to her size. She is ok with males, but is very guarded. She has a fairly intense prey drive and should not be around small animals (cats, chickens, ducks, hamsters, etc). However, she loves to snuggle up on the couch with her people.

Adoption fee for this pooch is $175 and includes vaccines and spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Fort Wayne Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fort Wayne, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fort Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
