My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little ball of fire is Brewster, a young pup of only a few months old who has already survived what many dogs never know. A stray in a northern community, Brewster was being kicked around a schoolyard when he was rescued by a good samaritan. Before that, he likely had to fend for himself in an area dominated by stray dogs. Brewster is a tough little pup and definitely no pushover! We are not sure of his breed mix, but our best guess is that he will probably grow to about 20 to 30 pounds. His thick woolly coat is somewhat like that of a Poodle or Bichon, although we cannot guarantee him as a non-shedder. Due to his rough early days, Brewster has a strong and feisty character, and will need an experienced pack leader to help guide him on his journey to becoming a well-mannered dog. He is currently being fostered with other dogs and is comfortable around them, and is also friendly and affectionate with people. Brewster already has the housetraining end of things down pat, and does his business outdoors. He can be vocal so would definitely not be suitable for a condo or apartment. If you have the time, energy and experience for a busy pup, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website.
