Latte, Espresso, Mocha—oh no. Give me a good ol’ cup of hot Cocoa. I am an old-fashioned type of girl, I like to take things nice and easy…I’m much more comfortable with the familiar than trying out new and exciting things. With a face as cute as mine you’d think I’d be accustomed to getting all kinds of love and affection, but sadly I haven’t. Truth is, I haven’t gotten much at all in my 8 years of life, and I think it is about time I start getting all the love and care I have been missing out on. I do really well with cats and other dogs; they help me feel more safe and secure—a bit of a confidence boost really—and I just know that in time I will adore the gentle attention that respectful children 12+ have to offer. So far I haven’t had a lot of experience out in the world, so things like car rides and leash walks can be pretty scary for me. But you know what they say: practice makes perfect! I am crate trained already, though I must admit I really prefer snuggling up in the blankets. Snuggling up in front of the fire, or next to you on the couch—now that sounds pretty nice, too!
