💜TRIXIE💜 is a beautiful mix of a terrier and a Weimerminer dog. She is around 2 years young and came to us from our sister shelter in Newark.

TRIXIE is very playful and has lots of positive energy. She loves to be close and listens really well! She gives sweet gentle kisses once she gets to know you.....

She is not too fond of cats (or maybe it's she is too fond of them) and as for dogs, she likes them so if you have one, a dog meet would be required....

She walks well on leash and loves to play fetch and DROPS the ball for you so you can throw it again. She's so awesome!!!!
Trixi is eagerly waiting to meet you!!!!

Our Adoption Process...

When you come in to adopt it is an application process. You will need to fill out the application; upon approval you will need proof of homeownership, mortgage, tax, or sewer bill. If you rent your home, you will need a copy of your lease showing it is ok for you to have pets. If it is not in your original signed lease you will need to get a notarized letter from your landlord. Cat adoption fees are $75.00 plus $50.00 for the spay/neuter. Dog adoption fees vary. Please feel free to call the office with any question; we are here 7 days a week for adoptions between 12pm and 5pm.
