American Shorthair Cat for adoption in Pueblo, Colorado - Bailey

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bailey's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bailey's Story...
Sweet Bailey was brought to us when she was just a couple weeks old. She had a terrible eye infection that we treated her for, but she is mostly blind from the damage the infection caused. Bailey loves to sit and play with toys- especially batting around a jingly ball! She does get scared when she is in a new situation, or when someone new holds her, but we are working hard to help her grow more confidence so she can find a family and home of her own to enjoy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Pueblo American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Pueblo, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Pueblo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pueblo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pueblo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pueblo paves the way for another one to be saved.
