Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The world can be a little scary and Mary Kate just needs someone that she can feel safe with!
Mary Kate is a little unsure about the world. She hasn’t really known what is to feel safe with someone until recently. She longs for someone to always assure her that she’s okay!
Timid demeanor. Mary Kate is very shy and can take time to come out of her shell. Once she does, she’s calm and loves to be cuddled! She also loves food, car rides, and watching TV.
Miss Manners. Mary Kate is working on learning specific commands and is learning sit. She certainly is willing to learn more, especially if there’s food involved! She’s housetrained but hasn’t quite warmed up to a crate yet. Mary Kate has great leash manners! She will follow you, even if you aren’t hanging on to the leash! At home, she won’t climb up on the couch or bed without your permission. She’s also great with sharing anything!
Learning to be social. She also hasn’t quite got the hang of playing with other dogs and tends to stick quietly by her foster. They still scare her a little!
Mary Kate will do great in any type of home as long as she gets her walks in. Her right family will have a lot of time, patience, and love to help her get used to new situations. Your care will certainly be rewarded in a sweet and cuddly companionship!
