My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly was rescued from Cleveland County after 43 days in the shelter. She is an amazing girl and is excelling in her training in the New Leash on Life program at Gaston Correctional. Molly will do best in a home with no other dogs (at least no female dogs) and no young children. FurBabies is in partnership with The NC Department of Public Safety and the New Leash on Life Program and Wynn is in the current training class. It is a WIN/WIN/WIN... A WIN for the Inmates because they have the opportunity to work with the animals, which gives them a purpose and an opportunity for employment when they are released from prison, a WIN for the dog because it learns all of the commands to earn it’s Canine Good Citizenship Certificate which is the first step in becoming a therapeutic dog and most schools, nursing homes and other locations allow dogs with Good Citizenship Training to be a part of programs at their facilities, and of course a WIN for the new owner who get and absolutely amazing highly trained rescue dog.
