We’re pleased to welcome Buddy, an energetic Schnauzer mix who came to Kiko’s care due to issues with young children. At just 7.5 years of age, Buddy is very clever and still has the energy of a puppy, so will need an active home to keep him physically and mentally active. Pleasantly plump, he tipped the scale at 33 pounds, so is on portion control and exercise to meet his goal of shedding 5 pounds. Buddy’s new home with have either no children, or those over the age of 12. He loves running after his ball, and will require a backyard for playing plus regular walks. Buddy knows basic commands and is a dream to walk on leash. He wouldn’t mind sharing his new home with a smaller dog, even a cat, but is not comfortable around large dogs. Buddy is loose at his foster’s home while they’re at work without any problems, and has been trained to stay off furniture and beds unless invited up. If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for an active and affectionate canine companion, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website for Buddy.
