Piper's Story...

Meet Piper. This gorgeous girl is looking for her forever home or at the very least a foster home. She has waited over 2 years!

Piper is a true testament to a resilient dog. After being saved from Cleveland Animal Care and Control, where she was held on court hold for more than 6 months, she tested positive for heartworm and went through treatment. She is now a healthy girl looking for her forever home!!

Piper is an energetic and friendly pibble!! She would love an active  family that can include her in their adventures and playtime. Some of her favorite things are Kongs, chewing bones, going for walks and snuggling on the couch.

We are posting to help out our friends at Thea's Promise, a pitbull rescue in Pennsylvania. Piper needs a new foster home or better yet an adoptive home. Either home needs to be free of cats and likely small dogs. Piper is a social girl so she may enjoy the company of a like energy dog.

Piper, a Strongsville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Strongsville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Strongsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Strongsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Strongsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Strongsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
