Maddie's Story...
Meet Maddie, a 3-4 year old Collie/Lab mix available for adoption through Min Pins & More Rescue. She was found as a stray & rescued from the Wood County Dog Shelter, when her owner never reclaimed her. Maddie loves children, is 100% house trained and has excellent people & house manners. She gets along with other dogs of all sizes, however we are unsure about cats. We will require that Maddie's new home have a fenced in yard. She is fully vetted, including spayed & has a microchip. Please let me know if you are interested in meeting & possibly adopting Maddie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Holland Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Holland, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Holland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Holland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Holland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Holland paves the way for another one to be saved.
