KB is a bright, active dog who's very shy, but is quick to give love once he's reassured. We are looking for an adopter who has a fenced-in yard because we think KB will thrive better when he's able to run about without restriction. He's very timid on a leash and will need a lot of patient training to get used to it. He's tentative when first meeting new people but KB does not have a mean bone in his body, he's such a sweet soul. He needs an experienced adopter who will devote time to working with him to build his confidence.
He gets along great with other dogs, in fact being around other confident dogs really helps him. He's learning some tricks and wow, he is VERY SMART! KB has a bit of the herder's personality, which is fun to watch in the rescue yard with the other dogs as he runs around and tries to gather them. He's good with cats too. KB was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky. *************Check out the new short video of KB in his foster home!
