Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tillie!
Pomeranian/Papillion Mix
Approx. 1 yr old
10 lbs,
HELLLLLLLOOOO! My name is Tillie! My foster momma calls me FOXY though and everyone that sees me calls me Kangaroo on account of I jump so high with excitement! I LOVE everyone! Kids, men, women, dogs, cats, I love 'em all!! I especially love to play with my foster dog sisters. I like to pretend like I'm in charge and sometimes my foster mom says I play a little rough, but that's just how I roll!
I've been through a lot in my short life, I was heartworm positive when I arrived here in IL. I've been through my treatment now and I'm raring to go though! I am crate trained and housebroken. Sometimes though, I get a little nervous and excited and I leave just a tiny puddle on the floor. I try very hard not to though!
Since I have SO much energy, I'm looking for an active family! I love to play and I love to go on walks. Though I may be lap dog size, my body is programmed to PLAY! My foster dog sister does a really great job wearing me out and once I'm tired I will take a break. I do love people so I would love to find a family who has someone around most of the day so I can have lots of attention. If you think this sounds like you, I'd love to meet you!
Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email safehavendogsIL@yahoo.com for an application or additional details.
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
