My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, friends! My name is Imani, which means "faith" or "trust". I am a year and half old, 60 lb, female Catahoula and Labrador mix. I was living with many other dogs in a field, and a kind family put food out for us to help us all survive, but now that I've tasted the sweet life of living indoors I can't imagine it any other way. In the time I have been in my foster home I have never gone potty inside. I have never chewed anything up. I figured out how to use a crate in two days. I really am very smart, and I want to please my people. I do have a couple of behaviors I'm working on and that is not walking across the coffee table, leaving the trash alone, and not jumping when I'm really excited (which doesn't happen very often). Other than that my foster mom knows how perfect I am. Even though I am a young dog, I am very mature for my age. I like to take things slowly. I love taking naps. I am very laid back. Occasionally, I get a short burst of energy when I'm really excited, but it doesn't last long. I'm happy to see my humans when they come home, and I'm happy when I hear my food getting prepared. I know I'll have a lot in common with the right family. I am almost ready for adoption, but get your applications in today. A rare gem like me won't be around for long!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
