Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Boss and I am a 1 year old Catahoula/Lab mix. I’m really a handsome fella, aren’t I? I’m silly, playful, and I love being lazy lying next to my person. I love kids and cats, but as far as other dogs go, I like being the only one…that’s more attention for me! I love chewing on bones and if you have ears, I like to sniff them. Sometimes I like to remind you with a bark to be careful when you leave or alert you of the dangers going on outside the window, so I’m probably not a good apartment pet. I would love a fenced yard or big property to play in. I’m smart and learn quickly; I know sit, heel, and I’ll go in my crate when you tell me to “go to bed”. I’m am housetrained unless you scare me, and then I might slip a little. I have something called patella luxation, which means my kneecap pops in and out. Regular walks (not jogs) will help by maintaining a healthy weight and keeping the kneecap from getting stiff as I get older. If you’re looking for a friend to love on, walk with, and spoil with lots of bones, I will be your loyal friend forever.
My adoption fee is SPONSORED (meaning I am available fee-waived to an approved home) and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
