The rescue asks you to read all information listed on this pups profile, as well as our information on adoption process page/tab located on the rescues website.
Most available pets for adoption start in foster care in KY/TN. This allows for time to start each animal on a vetting schedule ie de-wormer, vaccines, vet apts. This is for the animals health & well being.
This rescue has two forms of adoption and animals are posted where future foster homes may be. Direct adoption which is once an animal had been out of the shelter for 2 plus wks has two or more 5 way vaccines and your able to meet transport and take the pup home. Meet n greet adoption is IF the pet is not adopted first and arrives in foster care up north. This will occur once all vaccines, vetting and willing foster home is available. Transport takes adopted pets first from all agencies so availability depends on the transport companies open spots.
