My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cricket! This beautiful girl has an 'old soul' in a young body! She's an 8 year old chihuahua and she weighs about 12 pounds. Cricket will almost always look like she is deep in thought, which we think is because she's imagining the perfect forever family that will soon walk into her life!

Cricket is the perfect dog to walk on a leash- she never reacts or barks, she's just happy to be out walking! She currently sleeps in her own dog bed at night, but she would have no trouble sharing the big bed with her humans. She's recently found the joy of squeaky toys and happily entertains herself. She's shy and quiet but will surprise you with a couple big deep bark at the 'big' things like door bells!

Cricket is great with other dogs, house-trained, dog-door trained, and crate trained. She's spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and her adoption fee is $225. For the chance to add this sweet girl to your family, please complete an application at happytailsaz.org.
