Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mycroft is a gentle, relaxed Chihuahua who was saved from the shelter after his owner of 15 years left him there on the grounds of being “unable to take care of him.” For the first few days of his stay at the shelter, Mycroft was reportedly stressed and panting. When our volunteer went to remove him from his kennel, he was sleeping on his side amidst the din of the shelter.
Mycroft was obese and his nails were long. For the first week after arriving in his foster home, Mycroft slept nearly all the time. Then, he began to perk up, becoming more alert and starting to run around as he lost weight. Today, Mycroft is a peppy, happy, low-maintenance companion who loves to walk on-leash and off, and hang out in his bed. He adores other dogs of all sizes and is friendly with everyone. He has vision in one eye only, but you wouldn’t know that by how he navigates his foster home and his life in general. He is smart, quick to learn and happy to follow the rules.
Mycroft was clearly a family pet. He is a sweet boy, who is move-in ready, now looking for a place to call home. If interested in Mycroft, please complete an application at www.seniordoghaven.org. Any questions can be sent to info@seniordoghaven.org.
