Meet Rikki! Rikki is 2-3 year old, 8lb Chihuahua. Rikki is extremely an sweet and loving little girl who has had a very hard life. She has scars on her head and body from what we think are burns. Her fur will not grow back in those areas. She was also full of milk and in pain when we got her. Rikki has a beautiful soul that you can see when you look into her beautiful little eyes. The only way I can really explain this little dog is that she's kinda like a baby doll. She cuddles and hugs you. And when she's unsure she wraps her legs around you so tightly like little arms as to say "please keep me safe" Rikki bonds really quickly and has some separation anxiety. She would do best in a calm home where her people are home most of the time. Older respectful children would be OK but not small children. Rikki has really thrived in my home and has gotten a lot of her confidence back but she still needs to be showered with the love, respect, praise and affection that she so desperately craves. Rikki is a very good girl. She doesn't get into anything or cause any problems. The only thing she does is she will cry for you. She does really well with my dogs and would do great in a home with another playful dog. She's also fine with cats.
