My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a female Maltese about 6-7 years of age. She is a little girl, weighing 6 ½ lbs fully grown which is a good adult weight for her. Mia has a soft, all white silky coat that is non-shedding. She has a happy, social and super sweet personality. Mia is great with other small dogs and enjoys cuddling with a dog for a quick nap. With her mellow personality, Mia is a wonderful companion and adapts easily to new environments. She enjoys attention and is easy to fall in love with. Mia enjoys short walks and is great in the car, happy to cuddle next to a person. This little girl entered a shelter as a stray in neglect condition with a very small mammary mass. Mia was taken to our vet for a dental cleaning and removal of a very small mammary mass. The mass was adenocarcinoma and not likely to reoccur. She is going to make a lovely companion for some lucky person or family. Mia is ready to meet her new forever family!
