Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hillside SPCA 's little Chihuahua, Charlie, went to be neutered today. In addition he was to have his penis "tucked," since it has a tendency of sticking out and not being able to go back into it's proper "place." Charlie was also supposed to have a dental which was well overdue. This is where the problem came in. When the veterinarian went to do the dental, they realized his jaw was FRACTURED! Yes, his jaw is broken. Broken from how rotted his teeth are. It is quite possible part of the bone in his jaw is gone. It was recommended he be transferred to a partnering hospital of theirs where he will need to have a wire placed in his mouth to hopefully align his jaw, and make eating possible! Charlie is currently on IV fluids since be is dehydrated (likely because eating and drinking has been so uncomfortable for him). Despite ALL of these issues, we assure you that he is a pleasant little man. He loves to be held and is so, so sweet.
