Frank is currently living in a foster home in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Frank is ten years YOUNG! (He really acts more like 4-5 years old) He is a 65 lb Labrador Retriever who found himself surrendered to a high kill shelter in Houston, TX. We have no idea why his owner had to surrender him. We can only imagine that it must have been a painful decision to have to make because Frank is amazing!
Frank is very spry! He loves going on walks and he LOVES to run! He also ADORES car rides! Frank is really more of a people's dog, than a dog's dog and can be dog selective. Therefore, we are recommending Frank live in an only dog household. However, people are totally his thing. He will do anything to be near his people and give them all the love in the world.
Frank has a lot of love to share and a lot of life yet to live. In fact, Frank just had a full physical and completely bloodwork done, and he is as heathy as can be. And once you know Frank you will love him and his loyalty and genuine affection. Do you have a place in your home and your heart for sweet Frank?
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
