Strudel's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Strudel's Story...
Strudel is a 7 year old 13 pound Dachshund mix who was rescued from being euthanized because she had a hernia and an abscessed tooth that her previous owners did not want to treat because they did not want to to pay for it. Strudel was rescued and treated by a vet and within a week she is fully recovered. Strudel is very sweet and likes to be a lapdog. She can be shy with new people in the beginning, but warms up quickly. Strudel gets along with other dogs and would do well in a quiet or active environment, but would not do well living in a household with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Strudel, a Studio City Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
