My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What an outstanding beagle girl Jazzie is.  She gets along great with the other beagles in her foster home, and with the dog friendly cats.  She has never had an accident, never touched anything that she shouldn't, is extremely quiet; the list goes on and on.  She's about 15" tall but her body is stocky so a weight of 30 lbs. suits her.

Jazz is from Louisiana and they held her for a while before offering her to HBHR because they knew that a dog this beautiful, healthy and well-behaved must belong to someone.  Apparently whomever had her must have decided they no longer did.  She even knows basic commands and waits patiently with her behind firmly planted on the floor for her treat.

She is about two years old, heart worm negative and now spayed.  She would thrive being an only dog so she could have you all to herself but would also make a great sister for the right dog.  And as long as the cat doesn't run at the sight of a dog, she will not give chase.

Please apply soon for Jazz; she totally deserves her own home and not be in a foster home.
