My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DARLA - Female, Papillon mix, 6-7yrs, 12 lbs.

Darla is looking for a FOREVER home. Darla came from the shelter with the name Boots. She is a dainty little girl and needed a name to match her sweet personality so she became Darla. At some point in her life her ribs were broken on the left side and never treated, so they healed with a gap between them. It causes her no apparent problems but she will scoot backwards when you try to pick her up. She never nips or growls and will let you hold her but she likely remembers the pain of the broken ribs and this is why she is a bit skittish. She is just a beautiful little girl!
