Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. To meet Thelma, come to the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad 92011.
Thelma is a tan and white Chihuahua/Pug mix. She is six years old, but has a lot of energy for a dog that age. She recently went to an adoption event, and had a nice ride in the car and then enthusiastically walked on a leash into the store to investigate. She was excited to see other dogs and seemed to get along with all of them, both large and small.
When Thelma first came into the shelter she was very scared and had to be carried in a towel out to a yard to go potty. Since then she has really improved and loves seeing a leash because that means she gets to go on a walk. Thelma appears to be house trained.
She is energetic and will sit on your lap for a little bit, but not for long because she wants to jump off and go meet more dogs and people.
To meet this little bundle of fun, visit the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad 92011. Open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Closed Mondays and holidays. Bring these numbers with you for identification: ID: A1773361; Tag: N436.
