My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When I overheard I was being sent to prison, my first thought was what in the world did I do wrong?? I mean, really. Prison? So I trash troll sometimes; since when is that a crime? Then it dawned on me. I wasn't going "to prison"; I was going "to the prison". Whew--big difference. So you might be wondering why a guy as a great as I am would be taking part in the cell dog training program. Well, here's why: I have been at the pound now for 5 months. FIVE whole months. In those 5 months, I tested positive for heart worm, but the Harrison County Dog Pound Volunteers made sure I got better and while I went thru treatment, I got to spend time with a real family in a real home with other dogs and kids. It was the bomb! When I got better, I came back to the pound (and lost the family jewels--OUCH) so I would be available when people wanted to meet me, but nobody does. OK, that's not exactly true...one family met me but their dog didn't like me, probably because I'm so freaking amazing, he was jealous). Two other families were supposed to come meet me and never showed. So, between heart worm treatment and losing my manhood, I suffered further humiliation by being STOOD UP! Imagine that... Anyway, back to my awesomeness. I'm about 7.5 years old. Except for trash trolling (most recently I was able to relocate part of an order of Wendy's fries right into my mouth), I'm almost perfect. I'm housebroken, good with kids (my foster home had a teenager and a 3 year old) and other dogs. I love to play, especially with balls--of the tennis variety. I share my toys and I carry my toys wherever I go. I play well with other dogs. In fact, I think balls and other dogs are 2 of life's pleasures...well. 2 of 3. The third is pooping. I do that too. ALOT. I love my friends at the Harrison County Dog Pound, but after 5 months there, they felt I deserved better and put me into the training program where I'll have a yard to play with other dogs and learn new skills and maybe some tricks too. Maybe I'll even be able to trick someone into wanting to adopt me because nothing else seemed to work. I'm available for forever love while at the prison and can leave anytime. To find out how to come meet me there, so the info below!
