My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Coco Beab and I am 5 years old. I weigh 55 lbs and try to stay in shape because my girlish figure is important to me. My foster mom says I look like a Caramel Macchiato....creamed coffee spots over steamed milked!

People often tell me I'm pretty, but my personality far out weighs my good looks! I am silly and also the biggest cuddler. I am not a big fan of doggy toys, as I would rather cuddle with my favorite person and just be loved on.

I LOVE children!! I'm very gentle with them and don't try to steal food from their little hands.

I do enjoy the outdoors and I LOVE other dogs. I would like to have many friends of the canine persuasion, but I need a little time to warm up to them. My perfect day would definitely include a trip to my favorite dog park!

Cats scare the spots off me. I was beaten up pretty badly by a fiesty feline at a previous foster home and I am a little jaded. I thought we were friends, but I guess I got the wrong idea. Now I would just prefer to not have feline friends in the future.

I'm a smart girl and am very talented! I can shake with BOTH paws and I am bi-lingual (I know commands in English and Espanol).

If I could choose any where in the world to be I would choose cuddled up with my owner on the couch or in their bedm but I warn you, I am a snorer!

I am in excellent heath because I workout (well I mean I walk everyday and limit my treat intake). My foster home is pretty cool I have a two-legged mom, sister and brother and several four-legged siblings including a cat I hide from. But my real buddy is my foster mom unless the teenager is home.....I love him!

When the other dogs are out, I stay in the kitchen but when it's bed time I get to sleep in bed with the teenager and it makes me the happiest girl on earth!!

I am good girl on my leash and might be a tad bit demanding for my walks....I like to remind people where my leash is. I don't bark much but being bounced around for the last year I have a little issue with separation and sometimes cry about it. I am house broken! Yep, I definitely get a good star in that department.

NorCal Bully Breed Rescue is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread all throughout the Sacramento area. We usually require our adopters to be within a 50 to 100 mile radius of us, depending on the dog, and depending on the home. This is because we need to do a yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. We are, however, willing to adopt out of our area, including the Bay Area, Tahoe, and even further. We've even adopted out of state on very special occasions. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and range from $200-$350. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary).

Coco Bean's adoption donation is $200.
