Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Cookie! Because I'm super sweet! Unfortunately I've had a rough start and was found in pretty poor health. Luckily I was huddled on the side of a gas station where a wonderful guy saw me picked me up and took me to a vet to get fixed up. I had a bad skin infection that is clearing up and I feel good as new! I've been spayed, given all my shots, and microchipped. I am now looking for my forever family. I am very friendly and submissive. I love everyone--big and small! I just want to be someone's cuddle buddy. I have been introduced to several new dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments and have done great with all of them! However I am only 6 months old so I would probably be happiest with someone who could run around and play with me. Sadly the Rescue who is helping me find a home is very full and doesn't have a foster available for me so I've been staying at the Animal clinic. I am doing very well there and don't have any accidents in my kennel...ever!! Please spread the word about me and if you think you could be my new mom or dad email my people!!
West Houston Animal Rescue has an adoption process that includes an application, vet check, and home visit. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm/flea preventative, microchipped, and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $150.
