My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rescued from a rural animal control shelter, Grant is now almost 4 years old as of April 2019. Grant is a mix breed dog that includes almost equal portions of American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow Chow and companion breed dogs--this is NOT a guess! Grant was DNA tested. This awesome and obedient dog is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and is a wonderful companion to children, other dogs and cats. Grant has been in a foster home for approximately one year while he underwent "soft" heartworm treatment. He is now negative for heartworms and never wants to go through this again. Grant's new owner must be committed to making sure Grant receives a heartworm preventative each month for the rest of his life. Grant is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and ready for a permanent home. He currently lives with 2 dogs and 3 cats and has been a great companion and playmate to numerous other foster dogs that have come and gone in this foster home. Serious adopters can call Dianna at 281.797.4681 or email katyrescue@ymail.com for more information. Grant's adoption fee is $75.00.
