Shieba-registered's Story...
4-28-17 Yes you read right, Precious Shieba was born on April 19, 2006 and registered as Shieba Jean Munday. What happened in eleven years for this feisty happy girl to end up on a euthanasia table at a vets office can only be speculated. We are just glad that at the last minute the vet staff stopped the procedure and called us! Two days later she is living in a foster home, playing with toys, using a doggy door (no accidents), and sleeping on a couch. She is a delightful girl with lots of love and life to go! Available for adoption for our usual $50 adoption fee. You can buy love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shieba-registered, a Charleston Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
