Freddy: Covedale's Story...
Ohio Hound Rescue and Three Sisters Pet Rescue are headquartered in Cincinnati Ohio. But we have pets in several parts of OH and KY. If you see a pet you like, e-mail us. We can tell you where s/he is. And how to submit an application.

All pets are vet examined, immunized and spayed or neutered when they come into rescue. Some of them are also microchipped. If they are in foster care, they are also crate trained and/or housebroken. If they are in boarding, they will be kennel trained there.

Adoption fees vary depending on vet care and other expenses associated with a pet's care. We work hard to raise funds so that we can keep adoption fees as low as possible. Please contact us if you have questions related to this. Our goal is ALWAYS to find the best home for a pet!

We are happy to have you visit one of our foster homes or boarding facilities.

Every pet adopted locally is entitled to one free vet follow up visit, too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy: Covedale, a Cincinnati Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
