My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orangey is looking for a permanent home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Orangey loves everybody and will stroll right over to introduce himself. This very outgoing kitty loves if you will pick him up and put him into your lap, where he will melt into you and purr.

Orangey does seem slightly startled by men he does not know--- perhaps a man hurt him once--- but he gets over that vigilance quickly and is loving to gentle men as well as women.

Estimated to be three years old, Orangey has been living on the streets in Illinois. A kind woman has been feeding him but is unable to take him indoors due to the small size of her dwelling and the number of cats she already cares for inside. So the kind woman and her friend are boarding Orangey at the vet to get him through the storms that are expected this weekend. They hope that this sweet cat can move from the vet into a forever home.

Many people do not realize that FIV+ cats can lead long and healthy lives. And it is very difficult for other cats to catch unless they get into serious fights that involve biting.

Sweet Orangey really wants to be part of your family and settle in for years of snuggling. Won't you reach out to this affectionate guy? He'd be so very grateful to find a safe, loving home.
