My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pete is a 3.5 year old 10 pound Maltese. He is a gentle little guy and very affectionate. Pete gets along with other dogs, is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door.

Pete came to us from a local animal control. He was picked up off the street and his owners did not reclaim him. Poor Pete probably did not have a very good home, as he was plagued with fleas (see the reddened fur in his rear quarter?) and had infections in his eyes and ears. The fleas are gone, and Pete is being treated with antibiotics for his ear and eye infections. The infections will clear in a matter of days, and now that he is flea-free, his hair will grow back nice and white/cream colored in a few months.

Pete has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.00.
